With the exception of Norway, all land borders to Europe are closed to Russian cars.
Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Finland have closed their borders to cars with Russian licence plates, but only Norway still allows Russian-registered vehicles to cross.
Poland was the last EU country to close its border only on September 17.
Finland has some exceptions for Russian-registered vehicles, but Poland has decided to close the border 100% without any exceptions.
Finland has made exceptions for EU citizens currently living or staying in Russia, for members of the diplomatic service and for visiting close relatives in Finland.
All cars with Russian plates must leave Finland within six months. There is no provision for confiscation of cars in Finland.
