Honey Day in the Apiary is an event where beekeepers from all regions of Latvia invite everyone to their apiaries, with the aim of promoting honey and other bee products to the general public, as well as introducing the beekeeping trade on the apiculture farm.
The Latvian Beekeeping Society is organising the Honey Day in the Apiary event for the 11th year.
This year, Honey Day in the Apiary will take place on 9 September under the motto The Power of Nature Spoons Honey in a total of 14 locations in Latvia, where visitors will have the opportunity to learn about different honey flavours and uses, as well as other beekeeping products, free of charge.
It will also be a great opportunity to have fun with family and friends, to learn about the importance of honey bees in nature and the beekeeping profession.
