Microsoft Teams virtual makeover available for the first time

Maybelline New York, one of the world's leading cosmetics brands, has announced a partnership with Microsoft to offer a new way to prepare for video calls with virtual make-up in Microsoft Teams.

Microsoft Teams now allows users to quickly and easily customise their personal look right in the Teams meeting by choosing from 12 virtual make-up looks.

"Maybelline's mission is to give everyone the confidence to express their beauty. Whether working in the office or remotely, if you feel confident about your appearance, you can leave a better impression of yourself," said Trisha Ayagari, Global Brand President, Maybelline New York.

"That's why we partnered with Microsoft Teams to develop virtual makeup looks - now even on your busiest day you can give yourself a makeover with just one click. This is how we hope to make people's everyday lives just a little bit easier."

Consider this your "virtual make-up bag", containing all the digital make-up products you need for our ever-expanding digital world.

With a simple click, users can choose between 12 make-up looks to easily complement their natural look and feel their best. Maybelline New York is the first brand from the L'Oreal Group to embrace this innovation, powered by Modiface AI and developed in collaboration with the Geena Davis Institute, to ensure a broad and diverse representation of the population.

Virtual make-up capabilities are now available worldwide as an option on Teams video calls for those with a Teams corporate licence.
