Piletilevi – the best platform to buy tickets for events in the Baltics

Concerts in the Baltics

If you are planning to visit the Baltic States for leisure or business, be sure to take the opportunity to attend one of the many events – concerts, shows or sports competitions. It is particularly convenient to buy tickets on the Piletilevi ticketing platform.

It is an international ticketing company that owns several platforms, including Piletilevi in Estonia, Biļešu Serviss in Latvia, Bilietai.lt in Lithuania, Bilete.ro in Romania and GoOut branded platforms in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany.

Piletilevi Group is owned by Sven Nuutmanis' investment company EastCom Capital and private investment company BaltCap. Piletilevi's latest acquisitions include Bilete.ro, the largest ticketing platform in Romania, and the majority of GoOut.net's assets in the Czech Republic. Thus the company also gains control of the Romanian and Czech markets.

"The acquisition of Bilete.ro and GoOut.net is an important step for the company to expand into new markets and strengthen its leading position in ticketing not only in the Baltics but also in Central Europe," said Mr Nuutmann.

SEB Bank helped the Piletilevi Group to finance the acquisition of both companies. The amount and other details of the transactions are not disclosed. Nuutmann added that the Piletilevi Group is not ruling out new deals in markets where it has already been able to establish a presence and is looking for new opportunities to expand its geography.

GoOut.net is the most visited ticketing platform in the Czech Republic. Piletilevi is also present in Poland, Slovakia and Germany, having acquired 80% of the company's assets.  The acquisition of the Czech and Romanian platforms will allow Piletilevi to sell approximately 15 million tickets per year.

The Piletilevi Group has been operating for more than 26 years and offers the most comprehensive ticketing services in the Baltics. The company is expected to generate around €210 million from ticket sales this year, with profits expected to grow to €300 million over the next three years.

Founded in 1997 in Estonia, Piletilevi Group is the largest ticketing services provider in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania operating Piletilevi AS, Bilesu Serviss SIA and Nacionalinis bilietu platintojas UAB as the main platforms.

Piletilevi Group’s main line of business is ticket sales through digital platforms and a network of over 700 physical sales points. In 2019, over 6 million tickets to more than 36,000 events were intermediated.

In addition, Piletilevi Group offers marketing and consultation services. The company has experience in serving a wide range of cultural and sports events, also including the largest events in the region with more than 100,000 participants.
